New York City · Council districts
The real voice of the people, verified.
Polls ask who shouts loudest. Publius asks your actual neighbors. Verified residents propose the issues, back what matters, and vote, so your representative hears from the district as it really is.
How it works
- 1
Propose
Any verified resident can raise a local issue: a crosswalk, a park, a school, a block that needs attention.
- 2
Back
Neighbors back the proposals they care about. The ones that reach enough backers go to a vote.
- 3
Vote
Every resident of the district gets one vote. Results update live, broken down by how each voter was verified.
- 4
Deliver
Publius delivers the result to your City Council member, and publishes that it did.
Your idea, your neighbors' vote
Have an idea for your block?
A crosswalk that should exist. A park that closes too early. A bus stop that needs a shelter. Write it as a yes-or-no question and your neighbors decide if it goes to a vote.

What “verified” means
Resident
A real phone number and a home address inside the district. One person, one voice.
Verified
Address confirmed with a code mailed to your home (coming soon). Results show both counts, so nobody has to take a number on faith.
